It was quiet

I had the day off.  Labor Day.  It was a quiet, lazy day.  No kayaking, too windy.  I read a LOT!  I am reading The Lacuna by Barbara Kingsolver http://www.kingsolver.com/books/.  It was a slow read at first, and I probably would not have persisted, except this book is for the Reading Circle.  Frequently, I have the TV, radio, or music on when reading inside. Not so for this book, too dry.  Need to focus on the reading...

It progressed well, all things considered.
