The Difficulty of Doing or the Difficulty of Consequences

I am paraphrasing the quote, and if you know what quote I am referring to, I would appreciate the reference.

It is an interesting concept:  I can deal with doing what is difficult now, or take the easy path, perhaps the path of least resistance, greatest temptation, and not have regard for the consequences.  But, sooner or later, I will have to deal with the consequences.

This is such a simple concept, it can help us to keep ourselves on track when we have a difficult task to do, or maybe even a task that is not difficult, but one that we dread. Consider always, the consequences of procrastination.
