Ambient Temperature

This time of the year, I pay attention to the ambient temperature late in the evening.  When it drops below the temperature inside the house, I shut off the air conditioning, and open the windows.  At first, it does not help much, even with the ceiling fans running.  I am able to leave the air conditioning off for some 6 to 8 hours, minimum... If it is a work day, I turn it on before going to work... If I am at home, I keep the house open in the morning, watching, the outside vs. inside temperature, until it is time to shut the house and turn on the air conditioning.

I am grateful to be able to have the option of opening the windows.  For years, I did not have the option.
